I recommend the Self-titled or In Love and Death... Although there are some great songs on the other albums, but I'd start off with these.

Probably start with the first album..
But it depends which song it is that got you into The Used in the first place??
Because they have really changed over the years. Idk. Go self-titled

I've heard The Used for the
I've heard The Used for the first time at Projekt Revolution in Germany. Liar Liar was the song I remembered the most :) So I did get Lies for the liars album first, I like it very much. But now I've got all albums :D Can't wait to see them in Cologne :)

Dude! Congrats on finding the worlds greatest band, get any album you want because you wont stop. You'll end up getting every album and craving more, like me. Honestly, The Used is totally and utterly amazing (despite the new album) and you'll really grow to love them.

lies for the liars got me
lies for the liars got me involved
so either that or in love & death is pretty good
or hang on for artwork
but i suppose it's what you prefer screamo or the softer music
i think the first 2 have more screamo but the later ones are more softer just my opinion
or do as the other's have said and start from the beggining
also going to websites like www.jango.com let you listen to the music for free so you can see which songs you like the most and from that decide which album to get

i'm surprised at how many people got into them cause of lies for the liars....its probably my least favorite cd. i love it, its totally unique and it kicks major ass but...idk

i agree with hannah on this one. lies for the liars is my least favorite cd from the used. i think john feldman got a little crazy with his production on this one. don't get me wrong still a good album but def start with the self titled one then work your way up.

I went to this huge used
I went to this huge used record store by my house and was just randomly looking for a used cd to get the buy 4 used cd's and get the fifth one free, so I picked up the Maybe Memories cd/dvd. I watched it 24/7 for about a month before I could afford to go out and buy other albums. When I had the money, I purchased the s/t, In Love And Death, Berth and Lies for the Liars all at the same time. I could not get enough of them. And I still can't. To answer the question, start with the s/t. I find it difficult to appreciate a band fully unless I start at the beginning.

Either the self titled one or Lies For The Liars. You can't really go wrong with any of them though.
