There's just something about Bert I love, and it's that he seems just so into the moment, like so excited and happy do be doing what he's doing. It's like there's just so much energy pulsating through him and it's exciting to watch it unfold on stage. And his voice is just oh so wonderful.

Bert is such an amazing person
I love Bert because I think that he has something than we can't find in people frecuently...
He has just like a kind of own-light, he shines just by being who he is.
I mean....you can see everyday cool guys, very good looking guys, etc etc, but I bet that none of those guys would have the inside-light that bert has...He shines between a thousand people just because his way of being.
He just lives the moment, he embraces every second and enjoys it, it doesn't matter if it's a good or a bad moment, he is just living....
I think that Bert is a Free Spirit, who does whatever he wants whenever he wants, it's so natural... And he's plenty of energy of course... For me he is someone to follow, I deeply admire him and hope he won't change.
And that insides qualities can bee seen from the outside.
I really LOVE him, but because all the things that I've learned from him, from his way of life.
The Used and Bert, specially Bert, have saved me.

I agree...
I do think that we need to all recognize the rest of the band just as equally...BUT
I have to say that I need to practice what I preach, because I kinda favored Bert a lil more than the rest, But for good reason. Like an earlier reply.. I think he drums to his own beat. He is able to be himself and he don't care what the fuck anyone thinks of him. It's a way I wish that I could be, and something I hope to be in the future! I'm different from most people, I look as if I'm a loner because I'm constantly wanderin off on my own with my headfones in mah ears 24/7...lol Most people don't get me and I always try to cover my true self up so that people would treat me as one of the same...
BUT theres something about listening to this band that just for the moment I'm listening to their album, or just one song, that I feel I can rock out and completely retarded dancin n singin wherever I am and not care what people view me as, or say...Now only if I could be that way in normal life...if there is a such thing as "normal"...
Point is... Bert is amazingly talented and and just a very cool, down to earth REAL guy....as the rest of the band..and it shows thru their music and it shows through his singing!

I like everyone in the band
I like everyone in the band but each one has a quality about them that just sticks to you bert is quarky :P he makes me laugh but he can also like get into your mind with his songs ( that sounded hippish so like scratch that) !

Bert has a great singing
Bert has a great singing voice, and I think that's because he was taught piano when he was younger. It really helps determine Pitch and Quality !

he is 27 guys, i always thought he would be part of the 27 club because all great artists like kurt cobain, bradley knowell, janis joplin and jimmy hendrix....maybe jim morrison idr but they all died at the age 27. im not saying they are the only good artists out there and im not saying you are the best artist if u die at 27...lol. BUT, i am saying that bert always reminded me of kurt cobain in a way. taking a new direction in music, having a scream that makes people want to shoot themselves and in ways they are completely different. Hopefully he dosent die though so he can make more rockin music or he will die and live in fame FOREVER!! you can either look at this comment as pessimistic or optimistic, whatever you choose. just a thought..

Bert's the shizznaz,
Bert's the shizznaz, definitely one of the best singers around today,
as a vocalist myself, he's one of my main sources of inspiration as a frontman. Now, I'm more or less a metalhead - death metal, black metal and all that, usually listening to that dirty screaming stuff which most people seem to hate with really "professional" vocalists, but I still think Bert's one of the best because of the raw, natural sound he has made for himself. A lot of vocalists in certain genres all sound the same due to using the same technique and everything, but he's really made it his own. I think him and Kyo from Dir en Grey and Mike Patton are some of the most original singers out there =)
Anyways, keep on rockin', Bert, hope to meet you someday!

The Used in general has been my favorite band for going on 7 years, and I must say, Bert has been an inspiration to me. Bert's crazy personality and awe-inspiring lyrics amaze me everyday. Bert saves lives, whether he knows it or not.

Bert is amazing. I saw him live in Kansas City with TBS and The Offspring. He has SO much energy on stage and helps pull of an amazing show.
