dan's actually the only one
dan's actually the only one i've met so far. you just gotta love him. after the show in duluth he was only member to stand outisde and talk with fans. he said eveyone else was feeling sick :(

I'm not going to jump up and
I'm not going to jump up and say that Dan is the BEST drummer in the world, there are different levels of talent. He's gifted, yeah. But just because The Used is my favorite, doesn't mean they are the holy grails of everything, and for someone to just pass out over Dan's drumming ability, seems silly and ignorant. I think Dan is a really good match for The Used, he replaces Brandon well. I personally was really worried when the switch happened because of the way the sound might be effected. It swayed in a bit, but over all it was alright. I just hope they go back to the sound they started with, because I like the older sound alot more then the newest album, Lies for the Liars, and I just hope Dan can help bring The Used back to the kiddo's from Utah they really are.

I love him. He seems really sweet and weird. He's replied to me on myspace twice in messages and twice in comments. I like his style of drumming better than Branden's actually. And hehas really nice legs and forearms.

I've gotta say it...
Dan actually recorded some of the tracks on LFTL, which ones I'm not sure. He's also pretty much the sweetest guy ever (not to say that the other guys aren't nice). They actually had to play an acoustic set in Austin for SXSW because Dan thought that someone had said they were playing an acoustic set, he then proceeded to drink on 6th street until he was too drunk to play. Thus creating the acoustic set. Gotta love 'em. He also got everyone to sign Jeph's sweat rag for me, which was pretty much the greatest thing ever.

no one will beat Branden. he brought more of heavy metal - pop sound to the used. dan is way better than Dean Butterworth. Also he is from utah, so he definitely brought the used back in artwork

in my opinion, dan is the shit. and im never wrong, so that statement is pretty much the solid truth. i see no point in comparing him to branden. he's a badass drumer and brings so much to the band, like that swell personality that we've all grown to love. from the youtube clips, kyte vids, he and jepha have put in a lot of effort into staying in touch with their fans. dan has originality. dan has a tooth pick. dan has a kiwi.danhas a spoon to eat the kiwi with. dan has a jock strap. dan steps on fan's faces. haha. anywaays, daniel leslie nelson whitesides is the coolest motherfucker in the history of cool motherfuckers. i'd give my left ovary to meet the douche, and i say that in the most loving way possible. dan's man hands have glands that make fans' food taste bland. dig it.
