in 5 years i have only seen
in 5 years i have only seen them 5 times (4 this past year). but i have two problems with them live. 1) bert is an attention whore. you have to make yourself look at the other guys. 2) eventually, their set has to be over :( its the hardest thing i've ever had to live through.

All the best frontmen try to get you to look at them. But yeah, taking pictures, it is very easy to do nothing but keep the focus on Bert. You have to work hard ot keep your attention on Jeph or Quinn. And Dan is such a fast drummer that it is very hard to get a really good shot of him.
I've been to see them a few times (or maybe a few more) since I first saw them in 2005. But it remains an amazing experience.

Nothing. Nothing compares. I've only seen them 3 times, but I was blown away every time. ANND pretty much like a squeezed orange at the end... ALWAYS GET AS CLOSE TO THE STAGE AS POSSIBLE!!!! It's so incredible to be right there in the midst of the insanity with them.. riggghht there!!

I've stood front row for them, it is pretty cool. I'm a little more laid back these days though.
you should really go see them next time they tour. its flippin amazing.
